BULLETIN OF MATHEMATICAL BIOLOGY期刊中文簡介

《數(shù)學(xué)生物學(xué)公報》是數(shù)學(xué)生物學(xué)學(xué)會的官方期刊，它在生物學(xué)和數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)的結(jié)合點上傳播原始的研究成果。文章應(yīng)該注意面向廣大讀者。這些文章可以從廣義上的數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)的生物學(xué)動機(jī)的調(diào)查，到將數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)的概念和工具與實驗或觀察相結(jié)合的結(jié)果。然而，所有的貢獻(xiàn)都必須集中在生物學(xué)理解的重大進(jìn)展上。該雜志的核心目標(biāo)是讓生物學(xué)和數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的所有研究人員都感興趣，文章也應(yīng)該關(guān)注這一廣泛的受眾群體。數(shù)學(xué)生物學(xué)已經(jīng)成為一個多層面、快速發(fā)展的領(lǐng)域，研究人員需要認(rèn)識到影響他們工作的大量新發(fā)展和變化，而這些并不總是被原始的研究文章格式所捕獲。因此，該公報將通過幾種新類型的文章為讀者服務(wù)。這些包括各種類型的文章，如評論文章、方法文章、編輯的選擇文章、觀點和未解決的問題，以及討論加強(qiáng)研究和教育的想法、方法、工具和活動的文章，包括課堂內(nèi)外的文章。所有的文章將被同行評審。

The Bulletin of Mathematical Biology, the official journal of the Society for Mathematical Biology, disseminates original researching findings at the interface of biology and the mathematical sciences. Articles should take care to address this broad audience.The articles can range from biologically motivated investigations in the mathematical sciences, broadly defined, to results that combine concepts and tools from the mathematical sciences with experiment or observation. All contributions, however, must be focused on a substantial advance in biological understanding. The core aim of the journal is to be of major interest to all researchers working at the interface of biology and the mathematical sciences, and articles should take care to address this broad audience.Mathematical biology has become a multi-faceted and fast-moving field, and researchers need to be cognizant of a plethora of new developments and changes that affect their work, which are not always captured by the original research article format. Therefore, the Bulletin will serve its readers through several new kinds of articles. These include a variety of types of articles such as review articles, methods articles, editor’s choice articles, perspectives and unsolved problems as well as articles that discuss ideas, methods, tools, and activities to enhance research and education, both inside and outside the classroom. All articles will be peer reviewed.
