所有提交給本雜志的文章都經(jīng)過(guò)同行評(píng)審。AMS有一個(gè)單一的盲的同行評(píng)審過(guò)程，在這個(gè)過(guò)程中審稿人知道原稿的作者是誰(shuí)，但是作者不能訪問(wèn)關(guān)于同行審稿人是誰(shuí)的信息。這本雜志致力于在純數(shù)學(xué)和應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)的所有領(lǐng)域發(fā)表較短的研究論文(不超過(guò)15頁(yè)印刷)。要發(fā)表在《論文集》上，論文必須是正確的、新的、有意義的。此外，它必須寫(xiě)得好，并引起大量數(shù)學(xué)家的興趣。零散的結(jié)果，例如向未證明的主要定理邁進(jìn)的不確定步驟，或者對(duì)已知結(jié)果的微小變化，通常是不能發(fā)表的。較長(zhǎng)的論文可以提交給《美國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)報(bào)》。發(fā)布的頁(yè)面大小與為AMS-LaTeX提供的樣式文件中生成的頁(yè)面大小相同。

All articles submitted to this journal are peer-reviewed. The AMS has a single blind peer-review process in which the reviewers know who the authors of the manuscript are, but the authors do not have access to the information on who the peer reviewers are.This journal is devoted to shorter research articles (not to exceed 15 printed pages) in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. To be published in the Proceedings, a paper must be correct, new, and significant. Further, it must be well written and of interest to a substantial number of mathematicians. Piecemeal results, such as an inconclusive step toward an unproved major theorem or a minor variation on a known result, are in general not acceptable for publication. Longer papers may be submitted to the Transactions of the American Mathematical Society. Published pages are the same size as those generated in the style files provided for AMS-LaTeX.
