1922年創辦的《生物化學雜志》以常規論文或快速通訊的形式發表了在生物化學、分子生物學、細胞和生物技術領域的原創研究成果。迅速的交流不是初步的說明，但它雖然簡短，卻是一份完整和最后的出版物�！犊焖偻ㄓ崱分兴�述材料不應列入以后的文件。該雜志還出版短篇評論(JB Review)和編輯部征求的論文。

The Journal of Biochemistry founded in 1922 publishes the results of original research in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell, and Biotechnology written in English in the form of Regular Papers or Rapid Communications. A Rapid Communication is not a preliminary note, but it is, though brief, a complete and final publication. The materials described in Rapid Communications should not be included in a later paper. The Journal also publishes short reviews (JB Review) and papers solicited by the Editorial Board.
