植物生物技術報告提供了原創的，同行評議的文章，涉及植物生物技術領域的基礎和應用研究的所有方面。涵蓋分子生物學、遺傳學、生物化學、細胞和組織培養、次生代謝產物的產生、代謝工程、基因組學、蛋白質組學和代謝組學。植物生物技術報告強調對亞太地區本土植物的研究以及與植物生物技術商業化有關的研究。植物生物技術報告不排除對包括藻類和藍藻在內的低等植物的研究，如果這些研究是在上述方面進行的。

Plant Biotechnology Reports offers original, peer-reviewed articles dealing with all aspects of fundamental and applied research in the field of plant biotechnology. Coverage extends to molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, cell and tissue culture, production of secondary metabolites, metabolic engineering, genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.Plant Biotechnology Reports emphasizes studies on plants indigenous to the Asia-Pacific region and studies related to commercialization of plant biotechnology. Plant Biotechnology Reports does not exclude studies on lower plants including algae and cyanobacteria if these studies are carried out within the aspects described above.The Editor-in-Chief is Sang-Soo Kwak (Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Daejeon, Korea)
