《旱地學報》由中國科學院新疆生態(tài)地理研究所、中國科學院出版社主辦，是一份國際同行評議的期刊，探討可持續(xù)發(fā)展和生態(tài)環(huán)境管理，重點關注中亞和世界干旱半干旱地區(qū)。該雜志的主題包括自然資源的動態(tài)(包括水、土壤和土地、生物和氣候)、自然資源的安全和可持續(xù)發(fā)展、干旱和半干旱地區(qū)的環(huán)境和生態(tài)，特別是中亞。覆蓋范圍擴大到大氣層、水圈、生物圈和巖石圈之間的相互作用，以及這些自然過程和人類活動之間的關系。還討論了地理、生態(tài)和環(huán)境格局;生態(tài)建設和環(huán)境保護;以及區(qū)域反應和反饋機制。該雜志提供評論，簡要溝通，趨勢和書評。

Co-sponsored by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Science Press, the Journal of Arid Land is an international peer-reviewed journal which explores sustainable development and eco-environmental management and focuses on the arid and semi-arid lands in Central Asia and the world at large.The journal covers such topics as the dynamics of natural resources (including water, soil and land, organism and climate), the security and sustainable development of natural resources, and the environment and the ecology in arid and semi-arid lands, especially in Central Asia. Coverage extends to interactions among the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and lithosphere, and relationships between these natural processes and human activities. Also discussed are patterns of geography, ecology and environment; ecological improvement and environmental protection; and regional responses and feedback mechanisms. The journal presents reviews, brief communications, trends and book reviews.
