《中國郵電高校學(xué)報(bào)(英文版)》創(chuàng)刊于1994年。她是經(jīng)中國政府主管部門批準(zhǔn)，在國內(nèi)外公開發(fā)行的學(xué)術(shù)性刊物，現(xiàn)為季刊。本刊內(nèi)容涉及的主要學(xué)科領(lǐng)域?yàn)椋弘娮訉W(xué)，通信即信息科學(xué)，計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與工程，管理科學(xué)與工程等。由全國六所高等郵電院校共同發(fā)起并主辦。六所郵電高校是：北京郵電大學(xué)(BUPT),南京郵電學(xué)院(NUPT),吉林大學(xué)(JLU),重慶郵電學(xué)院(CUPT),西安郵電學(xué)院(XIPT),及石家莊郵電職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院(SPTTC)。該刊編輯部設(shè)在北京郵電大學(xué)。

　　該刊宗旨為：通過發(fā)表在上述各學(xué)科領(lǐng)域中的學(xué)術(shù)論文，研究報(bào)告和摘要，反映上述六所院校在科研和教學(xué)方面所取得的重要成果，促進(jìn)國內(nèi)各高等院校及國外同行之間在科學(xué)技術(shù)領(lǐng)域中的學(xué)術(shù)交流與合作。我們相信，本學(xué)報(bào)將成為一條有力的有力的友誼紐帶，將國內(nèi)外的學(xué)者們聯(lián)系在一起，從而增進(jìn)他們之間的相互了解，增強(qiáng)他們之間的學(xué)術(shù)交流。

　　該刊的讀者范圍正在逐步擴(kuò)大，每年有四百余冊(cè)寄往美國，英國，德國，俄羅斯，日本等國家和地區(qū)。該刊有較豐富的稿源，較強(qiáng)的編輯力量，并努力提高刊物的學(xué)術(shù)水平和編輯質(zhì)量，使之能得到讀者的歡迎。
